Come relax, rejuvenate and celebrate with like-spirited community at the beautiful Stanislaus River. Enjoy comfortable shaded camping on velvet lawns, easy Class I-II rafting, on-site swimming, multiple forms of conscious & ecstatic dance, yoga, breathwork, massage, hot showers and gourmet organic meals, all in a private riverfront paradise, just a stone’s throw from the SF Bay.
Discover sandy beaches, hammocks & rope swings galore, exotic statues, a temple made of redwood trees, plants carved into topiaries, and more surprises at every turn. Nurture your body. Open your heart. Leave your cares, cel phones and computers behind. Come down to the river and play!

Unwind, dance, swim in gentle currents, feel the warm breezes on your skin. Nurture your body, open your heart, soothe your soul and connect with people of like mind and spirit. This will become one of your most treasured memories in this lifetime! About half-way from San Francisco to Yosemite, you might include a trip to the Park in your plans.
No rafting experience necessary!
This gentle, Class 1 section of the river is great for novice and experienced alike.
Includes:
* 7 Miles of easy rafting on Saturday ~ all gear provided by River Journey Adventures
* 2 Nights deluxe camping at River Haven (with flush toilets, hot showers & electric on-site)
* Delicious, organic meals, with veggie/ vegan/ gluten-free options (request with registration)
• Nourishing between-meal snacks (please bring favorites you can’t live without)
• Activities of your choosing (or just sit beneath the bodhi tree, and watch the flow go by)

WORK EXCHANGE
Sign up for a 4-, 6- or 8-hour shift in exchange for a discount of , or 0, respectively. Shifts include set-up, breakdown, registration, meal prep, meal clean-up, bathroom maintenance, etc.
Contact Sara at info-at-RiverGuidess BEFORE you register (use subject line: August 2 Work Exchange). Once your shifts have been confirmed, you’ll be given a discount code to apply during on-line registration.
COMMUNITY SERVICE
SEVA ~ Upon arrival, everyone will be asked to volunteer 2 hours of community service, toward meal prep or post-meal clean-up. Though optional, past participants have found this to be a great way to connect with others, while reaping the rewards of contributing to the flow.
(In Sikhism, Seva refers to selfless service for altruistic purposes on behalf of, and for the betterment of a Community. It also contributes to the betterment of each person who offers it.)
KIDS’ CAMP
All participants under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. We also have space for a limited number of children ages 7-12 in our part-time co-op kids camp. Please contact Sage at sage-at-innerpeacehealing.com for info and confirmation before you sign up.
SCHEDULE
(Subject to change; detailed schedule will be provided upon arrival.)
Friday: On-site registration begins at 2pm. Settle into your camping spot, relax, swim, get a massage, etc. Take a property tour with the owners, followed by a delicious dinner as your first meal. Post dinner is a welcoming circle and first dance, then it’s down to the river for acoustic music and singing around the fire, followed by a restful sleep beneath a starry sky.
Saturday: Begin the day with meditation, yoga and movement class. Then after a late morning brunch, we’ll hop on the bus for a 20-minute ride to the rafting put-in, where River Journey Adventures will give a safety talk, and prepare us for launch.
Once on the river, we will raft for 3-4 hours, landing back at River Haven. Shower and change, then enjoy a delicious dinner, followed by more music and dancing. Afterwards, we head down to the river for some drumming, acoustic music and singing around the fire.
Sunday: After an early breakfast, begins with meditation, yoga, and Sweat Your Prayers dance with Stacey, then concludes with our closing circle and lunch. We then pack up our personal and community gear, preparing to leave River Haven by 4pm.
More details, directions, liability waiver, carpooling options, etc., will be sent prior to the event to pre-registered participants.
Our chef extraordinaire, Isa Jacoby, offers globally inspired, locally gathered, lovingly prepared nourishment for body and soul. Her meals accommodate, vegans, vegetarians, omnivores, raw and gluten-free diets. On your registration form, please indicate your preferences, food allergies and sensitivities. Since our ability to customize for individuals is limited, please bring what you need to supplement this menu.
Once you’ve made your payment, you’ll receive a welcome email with important logistical information and carpooling options. Directions will be sent to pre-registered participants before the event begins.
